The subsidiary legislation listed in column (2) of the Table below (“Amendment Regulations/ Order”) were gazetted on 30 June 2026 and amended the subsidiary legislation set out in column (3) of the Table below (“Principal Regulations/ Order”). The amendments came into operation on 1 July 2026.
 

 
The Amendment Regulations/ Order set out in items 1 to 6 of column (2) of the Table replace the table of fees set out in the Third Schedule of the Principal Regulations/ Order set out in items 1 to 6 of column (3) respectively of the Table.
 
The Amendment Regulations/ Order set out in item 7 of column (2) of the Table replaces the table of fees set out in the First to Sixth Schedules respectively of the Principal Regulations/ Order set out in item 7 of column (3) of the Table.
 
From a quick comparison of the new schedules in the Amendment Regulations/ Order with the superseded schedules, there has been an increase in the fees payable for some of the items set out in the superseded schedules. There has also been a few items added to, or removed from, the superseded schedules.
 
Entities that have a business presence in Labuan should peruse the Amendment Regulations/ Order that are applicable to them, to ascertain whether the amendments affect the fees payable by them.
 
The Amendment Regulations/ Order were last amended 3½ years ago as from 1 January 2023.
