The Consumer Credit Bill 2025 became law as the Consumer Credit Act 2025 upon Royal Assent being granted to the Bill on
22 December 20251. The provisions of the Act will come into operation on a date or dates to be appointed by the Minister of Finance by notification in the
Gazette.
