The Trademarks Act 2019 has been gazetted on 9 December 2019. It will come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs by notification in the
Gazette. The Act empowers the Minister to appoint different dates for the coming into operation of different Parts or provisions of the Act.
