Bursa Malaysia Seeks Feedback on Shortening the Securities Settlement Cycle to T+2

Bursa Malaysia has issued Consultation Paper No. 5/2018 to seek feedback on the proposal to shorten the settlement cycle for securities transaction on the bourse from T+3 to T+2 days. The consultation period ends on 28 December 2018.

Bursa Malaysia has also announced that is targeting to introduce the changes in the settlement cycle by Q2/2019.
