MRT Corporation Signs First Agreement Under the Selangor Government’s Public Infrastructure Oriented Development Policy

On 3 April 2019, Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd signed a mutual agreement with Cyberview Sdn Bhd, to enable an MRT Station and related structures to be built on Cyberview’s land. 
 
This is the first agreement signed for a development project under the Selangor Government’s Public Infrastructure Oriented Development (PIOD) policy. It is novel in that it enables an MRT Station and MRT line to be built on the land without the need for land acquisition and for these facilities to co-exist with other structures to be constructed on the land under a proposed mixed development project.
