Transaction News: Quaker Houghton enhances its advance solutions portfolio with the acquisition of Dipsol Chemicals

On 1 April 2025, NYSE listed Quaker Chemical Corporation (“Quaker Houghton”) announced the completion of its acquisition of Dipsol Chemicals Co., Ltd. (“Dipsol”), a Japanese-based corporation with production and R&D facilities in Asia, North America and Europe. Dipsol is a leading supplier of surface treatment and plating solutions and services primarily for the automotive and other industrial applications, for approximately USD$153 million. Building on Dipsol’s cutting-edge technologies and established market position, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, the deal strengthens Quaker Houghton’s advanced solutions portfolio globally.
