We have successfully acted for large corporations in challenging rates imposed by local authorities throughout Peninsular Malaysia.  The challenges, often involving complex asset-valuation exercises, are commenced not only through the statutory procedure prescribed by the applicable statute, but also through judicial review proceedings. We have succeeded in setting aside a few retrospective impositions of rates by local authorities.
