Our construction investigations team acts for clients in public inquiries and investigations conducted in relation to technical failures, regulatory non-compliance, and gross negligence and misconduct which occur in the course of project development. We work with technical experts and consultants to provide support and assistance to clients throughout the entire inquiry or investigation. For example, we acted for the subcontractor in a public enquiry before the Commission of Enquiry to investigate a landslide incident at a housing development site, and acted for the architect and superintending officer in a public enquiry investigating the collapse of the Menara UMNO building in Pulau Pinang.
 
In addition, we advise on the strategy and approach in managing such inquiries and investigations. This includes identifying and addressing the key issues and potential consequences so that clients are able to assess their business and commercial risks.
