Skrine renders advice on tax issues related to business structures, real estate transactions, stamp duties, available tax incentives, customs and excise duties, withholding taxes and international tax treaties. We also provide litigation services in matters arising from non-compliance of provisions of the applicable tax statutes.
Experience
Skrine advices a wide range of clientele (both foreign and local) in all areas of tax laws including tax laws pertaining to the Labuan International Offshore Financial Centre, tax investigation matters and taxes relating to employment such as employee share options plans.
Skrine appears before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax and the Appellate Courts of Malaya on tax appeals as well as other tax proceedings in tax and civil litigation regarding indirect tax matters, income tax, stamp duties and real property gains tax.
