Selvamalar ALAGARATNAMDispute Resolution Division
Selvamalar Alagaratnam was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in November 1994. She commenced her legal practice with a local law firm dedicated to employment law. In 2000, she joined Skrine and was admitted as a partner in 2006.
Selva follows the development of employment law within the country with great interest and is a regular speaker at employment law seminars and conferences. Selva currently manages a portfolio of domestic and multi-national employers, providing both advisory as well as litigation services. Her ability to provide comprehensive advice, negotiate and litigate on behalf of the employer is enhanced by the experience she gained in her previous practice where she represented employees and trade union of employees.
In addition to her employment practice, she also has a medical negligence portfolio representing medical practitioners.
