Lee Tatt Boon is a partner of Skrine. He has more than 30 years experience in intellectual property law, in particular copyright, patent and design, trade mark and trade practices law. He is also a registered Trade Mark Agent, registered Design Agent and Patent Agent as well as a Notary Public. Born in Ipoh, Malaysia on 24th May 1949, Lee Tatt Boon studied law at Gray’s Inn, London and was conferred a Barrister-at-Law in 1972. In January 1981, Lee Tatt Boon became a partner of the firm.
Selected Experience
- Lee Tatt Boon’s practice in intellectual property has centered around copyright, patent and design, trade mark and trade practices issues arising from the growing awareness of the importance of intellectual property protection.
- His principal activities include the supervision of his firm’s Intellectual Property Division which comprise, besides himself, of 10 qualified lawyers and a complementary staff of 40, and acting as Counsel in Intellectual Property litigation.
