Siva Kumar KANAGASABAI

Siva Kumar Kanagasabai is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and holds a degree in Commerce and Law. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1995. He has been with Skrine since his pupilage and became a Partner in January 2002.

Kumar has been engaged in a variety of practice areas within litigation and alternative dispute resolution. However, a significant part of his practice involves employment law, contract, public law, insurance and shipping & maritime. He has advised and acted for clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has also represented them at the Industrial Court, Labour Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court. Kumar’s work in employment law have been published in Malaysia.

In his spare time, Kumar enjoys gardening, golf (which he needs to improve on) and entertaining his daughter.
