  Overview  

Skrine has a prominent IP division and our services encompass all aspects of intellectual property laws and practice from the inception/creation of the intellectual property right to the proper management, maintenance and enforcement of that right. Our scope of work covers character merchandising, copyright protection, franchising, licensing, patent and industrial design registration, technology and telecommunications, trade secrets and confidential information and trademarks. In addition, the IP division has an IT sub-practice group to meet the needs of clients in the fast growing Information, Communications and Technology industry and a litigation sub-practice group which advises on all aspects of IP protection and enforcement.

We are named as the Malaysian IP Firm of the Year 2009 and 2010 by the Managing Intellectual Property Global Awards. Chambers Asia 2010, 2011 & 2012 and the Asia Pacific Legal 500 2010, 2011 & 2012 rank the Division in Tier 1 for Intellectual Property.
