The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (Amendment) Bill 2026 and the Communications and Multimedia (Amendment) Bill 2026 were passed by the Dewan Negara (Senate) of the Malaysian Parliament on 03 August 2026. The Bills will become law upon receipt of Royal Assent and will come into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister of Communications by notification in the Gazette.
