Skrine at the Bursa-The Edge Rat Race 2007

Skrine sent a team of runners to take part in the Bursa-the Edge Rat Race 2007 on 7 August 2007. A 4.5km run, through the streets of Kuala Lumpur at 5pm, in office attire, were all the ingredients for a fun experience for the firm's runners.

You could see the hundreds of supporters lined up along the route screaming their lungs out to cheer their team on. It was quite a sight to see a long line of runners running along Jalan Sultan Ismail, curving round the Petronas Twin Towers, and then slowly looping back. As we ran on the roads itself, we could hear the constant sounding of horns from the cars. Till now, we aren't sure whether it was to encourage us on, or it was just a sign of the frustration at the deadlocked traffic as the traffic police diverted the traffic.
