Skrine's Bowling Competition 26 May 2006

The firm's inter-house sporting competition for the year 2006 kicked off with the bowling competition held at the Equestrian Club's Kiara Bowl. The four Houses were out in full force; their members having trained hard the whole week in the lead-up to the competition.

The format of the competition involved each House sending two 5-man teams, and the House with the highest aggregrate over two games would be crowned the winner.

Pins were being knocked down with reckless abandon as all the bowlers quickly got into their stride. However, it started to become clear that the green team of the Top Guns and the red team of the Incredibles were breaking off into the lead, leaving the Black Knights and the Blues to duke it out for 3rd and 4th place.

With the Top Guns and the Incredibles having nearly equal points after the first game, the bowlers focused on achieving their strikes while at the same time peering over their shoulders at the score of their rival team.

In the end, the Top Guns were able to just edge out the Incredibles to secure a much deserved victory in this year's bowling competition.
