8th Club Crew World Championships
On the 4th- 7th July 2012, the Skrine Dragons competed in Hong Kong at the prestigious 8th Club Crew World Championships. The Championships saw over 4,700 dragon boaters from 25 countries comprising of Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ghana, Great Britain, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Macau, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, UAE, USA and Malaysia.

Contribution to SMK Seri Rampai
SKRINE has contributed 12 units of used computers to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Rampai, Kuala Lumpur on 5 May 2012.

Pesta Air Putrajaya 2012
On Saturday 24 March 2012, the firm's dragon boat team took part in the Pesta Air Putrajaya 2012, our first competition for the season.

The Skrine Regatta: Paddling for Charity
Skrine hosted a dragon boat race on 1 October 2011. Bringing a group of top corporations together, it was a morning of team-building, camaraderie and corporate social responsibility.

A Servant of Sarawak: Reminiscences of Crown Counsel in 1950s Borneo
The Firm organised a celebratory event at the Royal Lake Club on 26 July 2011 to launch Dato' Dr. Sir Peter Mooney's memoirs entitled "A Servant of Sarawak: Reminiscences of Crown Counsel in 1950s Borneo".

International Dragon Boat Festival at Penang
The Skrine Dragons are back from the 32nd Plenitude Penang International Dragon Boat Festival, which took place over the weekend on 10-12 June 2011. The competition was attended by fellow teams from all over the world such as Guam, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, Philippines, UAE and China.

SKRINE Dragons
On Sunday 29 May 2011, the firm's dragon boat team took part in the Ministry of Youth and Sports' Water Sports Festival in Putrajaya, which was held in conjunction with the One Million Youth Gathering. The team had been training hard over the last two months and this was our first competition for the season. For many of the team, this would in fact be their first ever dragon boat race.

Career Talk

Donation of dialysis machine
SKRINE donated a dialysis machine on 4 April 2011 to Pudu Rotary Club's Dialysis Centre. Partners in attendance at the cheque presentation ceremony at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur were Mr. Leong Wai Hong, Mr. Quay Chew Soon and Dato' Philip Chan.

Charity Blood Donation
SKRINE held a charity blood donation campaign with the National Blood Bank on 14 April 2011. The campaign was a successful one with employees and lawyers donating to the cause.
