The Skrine Dragons are back from the 32nd Plenitude Penang International Dragon Boat Festival, which took place over the weekend on 10-12 June 2011. The competition was attended by fellow teams from all over the world such as Guam, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, Philippines, UAE and China. 

The Dragons began the weekend with much aplomb, plodding along the myriad of events with much good natured ribbing and camaraderie from the other teams. All this culminated in an eventual comatose after partaking in the many gastronomic delights of Penang food. It was heartening for the Dragons to discover, being the only corporate team, that not only did we best our previous race timings, we earned an interview with a local news station, eTV!

The Dragons can only, once again, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the firm's generous support and encouragement and the inexhaustible vigor of our valiant captains throughout the years. We are essential parts of a team, we paddle well as a team, and we will continue to strive and thrive together in the greater team that is Skrine.
