Research
is undoubtedly a vital element in legal work. Thus, the firm leverages
extensively the use of technology to improve the quality of legal
services provided to our clients. To make legal research convenient
and expeditious, our lawyers are given access to research tool and
document databases straight from their personal computers. They also
have direct access to well- established international online legal
research providers such as Lexis Nexis. In addition to these resources,
Skrine has a large law library. Our archives include materials from
most Commonwealth jurisdictions including England, Australia, Canada
and India. Our library also houses numerous reference texts which
are constantly and consistently updated in line with the latest revisions
in law. In order to ensure that our lawyers are well versed and undated
with the developments in the law, we have a comprehensive continued
legal education programme within the Firm. Our lawyers are further
encouraged to attend conferences and seminars to keep abreast with
the current legal issues and topics.
